I would like to share five principles I try to live by. I hope they may benefit anyone who reads this.

  1. Enrich Someone Else’s Life: A simple act of kindness goes a long way. You never know what a small compliment or smile can do for someone who really needs a lift.
  2. Exercise: My husband and I recently started walking each morning and going on a vigorous hike each week. We feel ten times better and get the added benefit of spending a little extra time with each other.
  3. Don’t Let Negative Feelings Fester: Don’t let simple misunderstandings put a rift between those close to you.
  4. Tell Your Loved Ones You Love Them
  5. Live with Gratitude: Express gratitude for all you possess, to yourself, and to those around you.
