A recent national study completed by Forbes Magazine found that the greater Ogden metropolitan area was one of the 25 best places in the United States to live during retirement for 2014. Using different factors such as housing costs, cost-of-living, air quality, and economic viability; Ogden was ranked equally with better known municipalities like Austin, Texas; State College, Pennsylvania; and Tucson, Arizona. Our sister community to the south; Salt Lake City, was also ranked in the top 25. At Village Mortgage we are proud to see our great community promoted in this way. Of course, it only reiterates what us Ogden area insiders already knew, it is a great place to live!
